Come get a wristband so everyone can see who you're looking for as well as what type of connection you're after, to avoid any uncomfy interactions. We will basically be running a stoplight party!
Cascadia provides a safe space for all, security will be in-house so you don't have to worry about unwanted interactions.
6:00-7:00 check-in hour. Come get rules and safety and a lesson on how to throw. Be sure to get there early, especially if you've never been in before. Grab yourself a beverage and get settled in!
7:00 speed dating starts, time to axe and mingle! You'll throw axes at the targets for question prompts so you won't have to worry about trying to come up with get-to-know-you questions.
No need to jump in if you're not up for it or need a break, you can sit out and just watch the magic from our seating area upstairs!
Once the rounds are over, or you've gotten your fill, you'll turn in your card for those that you want to "swipe right" on, and those you just didn't feel a connection with. Staff will work behind the scenes to match you, text you a picture of anyone who matched with you, and then you don't have to worry about being turned down or having to awkwardly turn people down face-to-face if they just missed the target for you!
